Card Making Ministry
St. Stephen's Card Making Ministry is a creative and meaningful way for members of our congregation to express their faith and share God's love with others. The ministry involves making handmade greeting cards that are used for a variety of purposes, such as sending messages of encouragement, sympathy, and congratulations.

Care Ministry Team
The care ministry team's responsibilities can vary depending on the church's needs, but generally, they provide care in the following areas:
Visitation: The care ministry team visits people who are sick, homebound, or hospitalized to provide emotional support and prayer.
Prayer: The team prays for the needs of the church community and individuals within it.
Practical support: The care ministry team may offer practical support to those in need, such as providing meals, transportation, or help with household tasks.
Bereavement support: The team provides support and comfort to those who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
Overall, the care ministry team's goal is to demonstrate the love of Christ to those in need and help them through their difficult times.

Habitat For Humanity
Each year, St. Stephen partners with Habitat for Humanity and other area churches to help build a home for a family in need.
Habitat for Humanity homes are built using volunteer labor and donated materials, which helps to keep costs low and make the homes more affordable for the families who receive them.

LWR Quilters
The quilts created by our LWR Quilters are often made from donated materials and may include recycled fabrics, clothing, or blankets. The quilts are typically made by hand, and each one is unique and carefully crafted with love and attention to detail.
The Lutheran World Relief Quilters aim to provide comfort and warmth to people in need, whether they are affected by natural disasters, war, poverty, or other hardships. The quilts may be sent to refugees, homeless individuals, or families in need around the world.
Through their shared love of quilting and service, they come together to make a positive impact on the world and to strengthen their faith and connection to God.

Prayer Shawl
The Prayer Shawl Ministry aims to provide comfort and support to those who are going through a difficult time, whether it be illness, grief, or other challenges. The shawls are often accompanied by prayers and blessings, and are meant to be a physical reminder of God's love and care.
The Prayer Shawl Ministry provides an opportunity for volunteers to use their creativity and compassion to make a difference in the lives of others. It also helps to foster a sense of community and connection among those involved, and can be a powerful way to grow in faith and spiritual awareness.
