Programs and events for 9th through 12th grade students.

High School Youth Group

High School Youth Group is for 9th-12th grade students who want to learn about God, deepen their faith, and are interested in fellowship, games, and a great time! We meet on Sunday afternoons from 12-2pm.

Group Mission Trip

Group Mission Trips are available for our high school students every two out of three summers. We travel to a new state for each trip, joining 400 other youth across the country to help repair homes in the community. Each student spends 30 hours on the home they are paired with to help repaint, build wheelchair ramps, fix decks, or to serve in any additional ways. Group Mission Trips pairs up with dozens of communities per year, equipping adults and students to work on homes and foster community.

ELCA National Youth Gathering

Every three years, thousands of high school youth and their adult leaders from across the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America gather for a week of faith formation and fellowship known as the ELCA Youth Gathering. Through inspiring speakers, conversations with partners, Bible study and being immersed in the host city, young people will be inspired, challenged and called to live out their faith in their daily lives. Additionally, young people will have opportunities to explore their vocation and discern where they are being called into this world.

Faith Milestones

St. Stephen provides several milestone opportunities for students to learn and grow in their faith. These milestones occur from their early childhood through graduation. Milestones at this stage include Affirmation of Baptism and Graduation. Please contact Lydia Brooks at lydia@wherelovelives.org to learn more.
